Titles like “10 things successful people do before going to bed” or “5 daily habits of the world’s biggest leaders” have become so ubiquitous these days that we rarely feel interested by them anymore. Heck, some of the points in those articles are so common that most of us could probably recite them in our sleep.

Is Crowdsourcing Slowly Killing the Professional Photo Industry?

In May of 2012, Muckerlab graduate Matt Munson launched a service named Instacanvas which aimed to help their users make money by selling their Instagram uploaded photos as canvas wall art. The idea was that users could filter and display their images through the online gallery space on the site, and sell their images to buyers as canvas prints without any additional effort on their part. Instacanvas basically did all their printing and shipping for them, only taking a 20 percent cut in return. Photographers were paid via PayPal once they earned more than $100 in sales. Simple and straightforward.

The Most Important thing I took away from the Fight Club movie

It’s no exaggeration to say that Fight Club (1999), based on the novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk, is one of the most important movies of the Millennial generation. Love it or hate it, but you can’t deny it has carved its place into the history of modern cinema. Everyone who has seen it has been touched one way or another. Whether you’re a film connoisseur drooling over the production design or someone with a penchant for black comedy and social satire, there’s something in it for everyone.
